Project Management Foundations Training with Michigan Technology Services

Michigan Technology Services offers many instructor-led Project Management courses. This Project Management foundations workshop can take place at our location in Farmington Hills, 20 miles outside of Detroit, where you will sit in a room with one of our instructors, onsite at your office anywhere throughout the United States, or if you prefer, instructor led live online.

About this Course

This 2-day discussion-oriented workshop allows students to gain a foundational knowledge of project management best practices and provides the opportunity to apply their project management learnings to real-life scenarios. Covering both predictive and adaptive approaches, the workshop emphasizes utilizing the practices that will be most effective within your organization.

Students will benefit from this course by understanding the foundational principles, terms, and approaches of project management, learning more effective use of industry-standard project management tools and techniques, and by gaining experience via workshop activities to practice utilizing project management frameworks. Concepts learned and practiced in this course are immediately applicable to ongoing projects.

Note: This course has been approved by PMI for 16 PDUs.

This course is intended for anyone looking to enhance or reinforce their understanding of project management foundational concepts and techniques, including new both new and experienced project managers.
