Fixing Your Scrum

Fixing Your Scrum Training with Michigan Technology Services, Ryan Ripley and Todd Miller

Michigan Technology Services offers instructor-led Fixing Your Scrum training, as well as other Agile and Scrum courses. In a pre-Covid world our training would take place at our location in the Farmington Hills/Novi area, 20 miles outside of Detroit, or onsite at your office anywhere around the world.  Our Fixing Your Scrum workshops and Agile coaching sessions are now offered online/virtually, reducing your need to travel.

While many PST’s fly into metro Detroit to deliver Scrum and Agile classes at a hotel, and then leave, we live here and support the local Agile community.   We continue to sponsor regional Agile conferences and meetups. We have successfully run Agile and ScrumMaster and Product Owner courses for multiple teams from globally recognized organizations.

What is Fixing Your Scrum training?

Broken Scrum practices limit your organization’s ability to take full advantage of the agility that Scrum can provide. It takes a collective effort at many levels of an organization to solve these problems. You can’t, however, solve these bad Scrum practices if you don’t know whether or not they are lurking in the shadows of your organization.

Bring life back to Scrum with this one-day workshop.

We use advanced facilitation techniques to leverage the full intelligence of your team. We will make transparent and inspect areas that need the most attention. We will work with you and your team(s) to create action plans to move you and your organization forward. It will be up to you to adapt.

Our Fixing Your Scrum Workshop covers the solutions to the most common anti-patterns and bad Scrum practices that hold Scrum Teams back. This course is a combination of instruction and interactive activities facilitated with Liberating Structures. This workshop is a cutting-edge online experience designed to help teams learn how to truly use Scrum as a competitive advantage for their organization. The course includes advanced Scrum thinking and facilitation techniques along with deep discussions about the Scrum principles and values that lead to team success.

In this workshop, students will face challenging Scrum problems and will walk away with real solutions and ideas that can be immediately used to help their teams improve. This workshop is built around hands-on activities based on actual case studies and experiences.
